This page explains the use of cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage) on LevelUpCode.
1. Technical cookies
We use local storage strictly necessary for operation, for example to keep the login session (authentication token). Without these the service cannot work; they do not require consent.
2. Product analytics (first-party)
We use a proprietary, self-hosted analytics system, with no third-party services or cookies and no advertising profiling. To link together events from the same browser (for example the pages viewed before registration) we store locally an anonymous, random identifier (luc_anon_id). We do not collect IP addresses or other personal data in the events.
As it is not strictly necessary, this identifier is created and used only with your consent, which we ask for via a banner on your first visit. If you refuse, we measure only aggregated and anonymous data, with no identifier.
3. Managing and withdrawing consent
You can change your mind at any time. The button below resets your choice and removes the anonymous identifier: on your next visit the banner will reappear so you can decide again.
You can also delete the data stored by your browser from its settings; however, disabling the technical storage may prevent access to the service.
